The design to the left was created with the intention of maximising the surface area of the oven in which the hot air from the rocket stove would hit and therefore heat up. This design takes advantage of both the convection current of the rocket stove and the pizza oven to effectively cause a constant circulation of heat throughout the oven. Also the hot air from the rocket stove circulates beneath the bake floor to create a sort of underfloor heating for the food to cook on (see below). Each of these aspects result in all three types of heat transfer being maximised therefore creating an extremely efficient domestic pizza oven.
