THE EFFECT OF INCORPORATING ROCKET STOVES INTO  A PIZZA OVEN

Summary and conclusion of findings:

Rocket stoves are highly efficient due to their ability to have almost perfect complete combustion. However,  they do not cook food as quickly or to as high a quality as a pizza oven. Therefore if rocket stove technology were incorporated into a pizza oven effectively, a highly efficient and high quality oven could be produced. 

Incorporation:

Rocket stoves expel heat mostly through convection. Therefore in order to take advantage of the rocket stove’s efficiency, but still maintain the positive aspects of the pizza oven with regards to cooking, consideration must be made to how it will heat up the structure. As discussed earlier it is essential for the structure of the pizza oven to be heated up as this is the primary source of the radiant heat and therefore of the high quality flavours. If the rocket stove isn’t incorporated into the design well, it would result in the food being cooked exactly how a regular gas/electric oven would.
